lol I have decided to restart the series, I'm fixing the characters up and everything so hopefully this is much better. a few people convinced me not to give up saying I have just as much as a chance as anyone to become a manga artist so this picture is for them.

lol yep XD he did but as a sneak peak this first page is part of the main characters nightmare XD and the truth about the background is. its dark to indicate night time I see it alot in comic and last year I was told by a manga artist that this is the best way to accomplish this. she said when I showed he the page, for a beginner in using manga studios it was very nicely done. so I think that boosted my confidence abit in my own art skills since I only spend roughly 15 to 20 minutes on each of my pictures lol I dont look for perfection I draw fast XD

Sorry for the long wait for a reply, I almost didn't know this was here. XD You should click the 'Reply' button next to my post, it alerts me whenever you reply. Then I can get back to you faster. :D

You should take more than 15 or 20 minutes. I take anymore from 30 minutes to 2 hours on a single page depending on how much I plan on pacing myself and how much spare time I have. If I have little time, I spend either no time or 5 minutes shading or sketching a few things.

Do you draw and scan your art to manga studio? Or do you use a tablet?

lol I draw fast for ideas i do take my time drawing some stuff, I just got manga studios so i just scan them

Thanks for this page. Something about the backgrounds bother me, though. It must be that most mangas I read don't usually use so many tones.

If you insist that this is part of your style, though, then I can't really judge. We all have our own wacky way of drawing. :)

And that kid is frickin' muscular. Did he just kill that dude? :D
